Club Secrtary Craig Johnson said "I am sure Rod would be the first to admit that it has been a first class effort from everyone at Aveley FC that has enabled him to pick up this award. Beign top of the table and winning awards at this stage of the season is great, but these lads have a bigger target, and we will keep our feet firmly on the ground. The club is really buzzing at the moment and lets hope we can keep it going."
