Aveley 1-1 Cray Wanderers
Attendance- 89
Whoever won the game wouldn't been at the top of the league. Both sides put up a great fight with some really strong tackles going in from both sides.
The Millers took the lead, a short corner from James Peagram was played to Abs Seymour who crossed the ball in and the ball was flicked into the back of the net brilliantly by Petrit Elbi. That goal was cancelled out in the second half quite brilliantly, Lea Dawson took two touches, swivelled and stroked into the bottom corner to send the Wands top of the table.
Barkingside 1-2 Harlow Town
Attendance- 107
A defeat keeps Barkingside bottom of the Ryman North league table on goal difference as Haringey Borough move up a place to 23rd. For the Hawks they move up to 8th place with 8 points, 7 points clear of 'Side.
The Hawks were once again made to pay for a slow start when Barkingside went ahead through a wonderful strike from distance. As the game progressed the visitors began to assert themselves on the game, and Harlow were level by half-time when Read finished from close range. Ryan Melaugh scored the winner mid-way through the second half, but the hosts rallied and threw everything at the Harlow defence in the final minutes to try and salvage a point. The Hawks defence held firm to take their first win since the opening day of the season.
