It was a game that we should've won. With a perfectly good goal disallowed and an offside goal ignored and given to give Harlow all three points.
Harlow Took the lead as ex Miller Junior Appiah did well down the right hand side, he crossed the ball into the six yard box and Simms tapped the ball into the back of the net. 1-0 Harlow.
After that goal the Millers then took control of the match. Stevenson was outstanding and had a good shot saved well by the Hawks keeper.
The next Millers attack they had a goal wrongly ruled out which hasn't actually been given an explanation why as of yet. Offside, handball and kicking the ball out of the keepers hands were all used but none looked like they happened. And Marcus Elliott was denied a goal.
Aveley attacked again and finally they equalised, a run by Jack Stevenson as he passed it to a Marcus Elliott he laid it off to Sammy Knott and played it back to Elliott and Jack Stevenson got on the end of it and scored superbly from 20 yards out. Aveley 1-1 Harlow.
The Millers again battered Harlow Town, Jack Stevenson cracked the woodwork from forty yards out. A Billy Sendall long throw caused havoc but Tyler Devlin's header was wide of the target.
Against the run of play Harlow Town re-took the lead. From different angles it looked on and in others it looked off. A neutral manager was in line with the decision as said Alex Read was three yards offside. But Read did was he does best and scored to give all three points to the visitors. Aveley 1-2 Harlow.
Full Time- Aveley 1-2 Harlow.
