We've faced our next opponents twice this season but the last time we faced it was a game that went to Redbridge.

The score ended 2-1 to the Motormen with a last minute sucker punch. Aveley had 33 shots on goal where as Redbridge had 3 shots but won the game.

The Millers started slowly and Redbridge took the lead as Chinedu McKenzie was played over the top, he used his pace to gallop through and placed it well to beat Marrable. Redbridge 1-0.

Aveley then from the 2nd minute to the 90th controlled the game, Junior Ogedi-Uzokwe was taken down through on goal but nothing was given. The game felt it was everyone against the Millers.

Chance after chance came for the Millers and it just wouldn't go in with Redbridge's goalkeeper on top of his game.

Into the second half the Millers finally broke the Motormen stubbornness down, Stavrinou passed to Junior Baker, and with his cross come shot landed to Ogedi-Uzokwe who turned the ball in. 1-1.

Again came Aveley with chance after chance but nothing would go in for the Millers. As the time ticked into the 92nd minute, the sucker punch came as Redbridge countered and Leon Smith stroke the ball into the bottom corner. 2-1 Redbridge.
