Faversham Town showed their form from last season as they cruised to win the Millers Invitational Tournament.

The Millers Invitational tournament took place this weekend at Mill Field, with Aveley, Clapton FC and Faversham Town going head to head.

The first game was between Aveley and Clapton, the tournament hosts had chance after chance but couldn't finish. The Essex Senior Side Clapton capitalised on that and scored with their only shot of the match from a defensive mistake to win 1-0.

Faversham then took control of the tournament as they played Clapton 15minutes after their match with Aveley finished. The Kent side showed their dominance and demolished Clapton four goals to nil.

Aveley needed to win 5-0 to win the tournament against Faversham in the final match, but the Ryman South side were too strong as they ran out 2-1 winners and won the 2015 Millers Invitational Tournament.

The points system was three points for a win, one for a draw and diddly squat for a defeat. Per goal scored also equalled one point.

Final Standings-
Faversham Town- 12 PTS
Clapton FC- 4 PTS
Aveley FC- 1 PT
