Both Managers mixed their teams around last night, utilising their squads, ahead of the forthcoming weekend league and FA Trophy matches.

The game, played on a heavy surface, after 2 previous postponements got off to a quick start, as Junior Dadson brough a flying save from debutant Lockyear in the visitors goal in the first minute.
Billericay responded when Dave Wareham cut in from the right and unleeshed a low fizzing shot into Millllers keeper Rhys Madden's right hand post. Madden was also making his first start for his new club.

Millers equalised on 32 minutes with a goal worthy of many television replays. Ryan Edgar turn on the edge of the box, and thunderous strike richoted into the roof of the net.

Edgar pounced again giving the Millers the lead scoring from a free-kick awarded inside the box, to leave Millers in control.

Against the run of play, Wareham broke, and his pace saw him outstrip the Millers defenders before somewhat fortuitously firing a cross that found the top far corner of the goal. Some would say it wasn't meant, but the lad gambled and it paid dividends.

The second period lacked the goalmouth action until 15 minutes from time, when SHerwin Stanley gave the home side the advantage, before debutant David Knight rounded off a good night for the hosts with a sweetly driven shot from 10 yards with 5 minutes remaining.

So for Millers it off to new surroundings as we visit Chelmsford City in the 1/4 at Melbourne Stadium on Monday January 4th. Meanwhile Billericay have an attractive Trophy game at Rushden to look forward to this weekend.
