Faversham had the first real chance of the game, the ball was flicked on from a corner and it crashed the bar, it was then eventually cleared by Perry Dunn.

Liam Nash took centre stage as he dribbled past few players but just couldn't get his shot off.

Faversham attacked again after their striker's well struck shot was well saved from Jack in goal for the Millers. Seconds later a long range effort from Faversham captain striked the left hand post and went out.

Faversham then took the lead as the ball was played over the top, the striker raced onto it and finished with a delicate chip over the stranded keeper. Faversham 0-1 Aveley.

The Millers came back strongly and really should've taken their chances as this time, Liam Nash and James Peagram combined well but again Nash just clipped the ball wide of the target.

With their next attack the Millers finally out the ball into the back of the net. A free kick from Pearman was nodded in by Steve Willis and Aveley have one point guaranteed on the board. Faversham 1-1 Aveley.

Half Time- Faversham 1-1 Aveley FC

The first chance of the half came as Faversham hit the bar from a long range header. With their next attack the Aveley defence was once again breached, this time a shot was squeezed past the goalkeeper into the far corner. Faversham 2-1 Millers.

The Millers almost scored a freak equaliser as the ball is kicked against Liam Nash and it goes over the bar.

After that the game really did die down and Faversham Town won the Millers Invitational Tournament of 2015.
