The hosts, Frenford starting on top as the pumped balls into the box. The ball landed on the edge of the area to an attacking midfielder but he fired well wide of the target.

Frenford came again, this time took the lead. The ball came in from the right hand side, it landed on the six yard box and it was headed into the back post past James Marrable in the Aveley goal. Frenford 1-0 Aveley.

It was almost 2-0. Again from a corner, but this time it was just headed wide of the target by Frenford's huge centre half.

The Millers started to now take control of the game ten minutes in. James Peagram played a great ball through the middle which split the Frenford defence, Liam Nash managed to get on the end of it, he rounded the goalkeeper and passed it into the back of the net. Frenford 1-1 Aveley FC.

Aveley asserted their dominance as the second goal followed swiftly. Trialist on the night Olly tapped home after Peagram's shot was too hot to handle by the Frenford keeper. Frenford 1-2 Aveley FC.

The lead was extended with a minute before half time as again Peagram played the ball to Liam Nash, who this time chipped the goalkeeper to perfection to get his fourth goal in pre-season. Frenford 1-3 Aveley FC.

The second half was a drab affair with no real clear cut chances other then the goal. The rain hammered down and made the live updates very difficult with no cover to hide under.

A ball over the top this time from Aveley caused confusion at the back for Frenford and the keeper was penalised for handball outside of his area. Deen lined up the free kick which smacked the wall, it came back out to Peagram who was fouled and another free kick was given. Deen lined it up again and curled it into the top corner to put Aveley further in front. Frenford 1-4 Aveley FC.

Frenford had a good chance nearer the end of the match. A free kick was drifted into the back post, but the touch went just over the crossbar.

The Millers could've scored more but Lee Weemes was denied by a fantastic save by the Frenford shot stopper. Crosses were pumped into the box but no one could take advantage and extend the lead in the end.

A good test for the Millers and back to winning ways after no wins in four matches in pre-season.
