Aveley 0, Dartford 0
AVELEY and Dartford played out an entertaining friendly despite the goalless score.
Alan Kimble again tried out two separate sides, but notably included Junior Dadson in his first half line up.
Liam Coleman also returned to the side but it was his namesake Luke who went closest to scoring after getting on the end of a good ball over from Billy Hunt.
Dadson looked lively on his reappearance and forced keeper Darren Ibrahim into a decent save.
Carl Rook twice went close for the Darts’, firstly seeing his acrobatic kick fly over the bar and then his close range header hit the bar.
Both sides done the usual changes during the second half, with Billy Holland having the best of Aveley’s chances, curling a shot wide of the post and then seeing a shot blocked, but all in all it is definitely an improved showing for the Millers as they are set to face Thurrock at Mill Field on Saturday (3pm)
