In horrendous windy and rainy conditions, our young Millers backed up their wins over Potters Bar Town (3-0) and Woodford Town (5-3) with a 4-0 victory against Ware in Hertfordshire.

The Millers started well and inside 25 minutes were two nil up. Teddy Young grabbed his first of the FA Youth cup campaign and Aveley’s first of the evening. Three minutes later and the lead was doubled, this time Harry Lusher converted from close range.

The second half saw Ware come out trying to get back into the game, but the young Millers stood strong to keep their clean sheet intact.

In the 89th minute Aveley secured their place in the final qualifying round of the FA Youth Cup, this time a goal from Tashinga Zvirawa made it three-nil. And to round off an excellent night for our youngsters Josh Colyer added a fourth in stoppage time to put the cherry on top of the cake.

Aveley booked their place in the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Youth Cup, it will be away at Hertford Town, details of that game to be confirmed.
