Aveley missed out on the opportunity to face Slough Town in the next round after a mediocre display at Combined Counties side Hanworth Villa.
The only goal of the game came after 67 minutes when Levi King made the most of confusion among the Millers defence to fire them in front from Jimmy Major’s right-wing cross, a lead they managed to hold onto to secure the victory.
In truth there was little to separate ether side throughout the match, and although the Mill Field outfit missed their chances they were beaten by the better side on the day.
On a couple of occasions in the match, the Millers saw Reece Morgan hit the bar with a long range effort for the Millers, while Paul Shave saw his effort across the goal come back off the post.
