

The match started with both teams trying to find their rhythm. However, it wasn't long before Dorking Wanderers took control. The first goal came in the 19th minute from the penalty spot, after Luke Holness was penalised and Rob Milson sent James Holden the wrong way to put the Wanderers ahead.
The Millers struggled to break down Dorking's solid defense and create clear chances. Central defender Brooklyn Kabongolo saw his effort comfortably saved by the Dorking keeper.

Into the second half and ten minutes into it Dorking doubled their lead through forward Jason Prior. Rhys Murphy played a through ball to Carter who squared to Jason Prior with the forward applying the simple finish to make it two-nil.
All hopes of a spirited Aveley comeback was ended with Brooklyn Kabongolo shown a second bookable offence and given his marching orders reducing The Millers to ten men with twenty minutes to go.
The final blow came in the 80th minute when Norville-Williams sealed the victory for Dorking, he got slipped into the box and fires an effort across Holden and into the bottom corner for his first goal for Dorking this season.
This result leaves Aveley near the bottom of the National League South table looking for points to push towards safety, while Dorking Wanderers continue their push for promotion.
