Soham had the first couple of long ranged efforts to test our captain Lamar Johnson who dealt with both of the long strikes with ease despite the wet conditions.
Dan Odamo was superb at the back with nothing getting past him all match, Robbie Mason almost had a chance but Dan's interception denied the hosts the chance to take the lead.

Lamar Johnson made a couple of smart saves, first pushing away a low and hard free-kick which bounced right in front of him. The second a cross was right down his throat but he needed to hold the ball well to deny the hosts a chance.
Both Lamar Johnson and Adalberto Pinto picked up yellow cards late on. Pinto was a little late on Soham's captain and Lamar Johnson was adjudged to be wasting time, although he was waiting for a substitution to be made.
