A floundering Aveley side lost their unbeaten home record to a determined Forest.
An early shot from the ineffective Sweeny was Millers best chance of the half, before a late and high tackle from Forest player-manager Ojelaibi, saw Aveley winger Bristow carried off after ten minutes. Millers couldn’t adapt their game and Fraser could have put Forest one up, the off-side flag denying him.
Gary Richford did however get on the score sheet with his tap in after 58 minutes. Dadson saw his fizzing shot narrowly miss the mark, but Millers were unusually inept in going forward. With fifteen minutes remaining, Joel Palmer used his pace well to slot past Marrable, and earn Forest a deserved win.
