Scotty was a crucial piece of the Aveley Champions puzzle as he forged a fantastic partnership with Harry Gibbs to help The Millers conceded the least amount of goals in the Isthmian North last season.

In addition to that Ryan contributed seven vital goals coming against Felixstowe & Walton, Witham, Maldon & Tiptree, Coggeshall Town, Romford and Barking.

Ryan started his career in the youth set up for Barnet and moved to feature for Wingate & Finchley and at the heart of Billericay Town’s defence during the 2014/15 season before making the move to Jon Coventry’s East Thurrock United in the 2015/16 season.

Ryan Scott played a huge part in getting East Thurrock into the National South and helped them win the Essex Senior Cup for the first time in their history. Ryan has played over 60 times in the National South for East Thurrock, Concord Rangers and Braintree Town over the last two years.

The central defender brings extra in the goals department too, scoring six times during the 2015/16 season which saw East Thurrock promoted to the National South.

In early March of 2020, Ryan moved to Concord Rangers playing 14 times for the Beachboys due to the season being impacted by the pandemic, before a move to Braintree Town at the turn of the year and made his debut away at Maidstone Town with the Iron recording a 2-0 victory away from home.
