‘Nutsy’ is a dominant and commanding centre half who brings a lot of experience from this level to the National South. He first joined East Thurrock United back in 2009 and was the heart of the East Thurrock side who were crowned champions of the Isthmian North.

Steve departed East Thurrock to join Billericay Town at the beginning of the 2013/14 season, helping Billericay to an impressive 10th place in the Isthmian Premier League. After one season at Billericay he joined Canvey Island Abs was at the heart of the Gulls team for 138 games, scoring 14 goals. He was part of the Canvey team who made it to the Play-off final, of which Nutsy scored, but just lost out to Haringey Borough.

Sheehan started the 2018/19 season with Canvey Island and after eight games he moved to East Thurrock and scored on his debut in the National South and featured 32 times. Last season he started with East Thurrock in the Isthmian Premier League and played 24 times before moving to Braintree Town in the National South featuring in every game until the season was cut short.
