Toby started his career making his way into Tilbury's side in the Isthmian North after departing Thurrock's youth set- up. Toby made his senior debut against Thurrock and scored in a 1-1 draw at home. Aromolaran would go on to make 40 appearances that season.

Aromolaran started his second season at Tilbury with 4 goals in 5 matches, as he got goals against Bury Town and Norwich United before notching a brace in a 6–4 win away to Mildenhall Town. After an 8th goal for Tilbury against AFC Sudbury on 11 November 2017, he netted braces in consecutive December appearances versus Potters Bar Town and Romford respectively; in the match with Potters Bar, he picked up his first career yellow card. Three more goals came in home encounters against Barking, Ware and Maldon & Tiptree. In 2018–19, Aromolaran featured five times before departing.

Toby would go on to play for Basildon United, Cheshunt, Witham Town before returning to Tilbury back in 2019, before moving on to play in the Southern Premier Central with Coalville Town. the forward joined Hashtag United in July 2020, and went on to make over 120 appearances for them, helping The Tags on their way to promotion from the Essex Senior League and into the Isthmian North.

In the 2022/23 season, Toby scored 21 goals as he helped the Tags romp home to the Isthmian North title, and in the first half of the 2023/24 season Toby scored goals ainst Dulwich Hamlet, Concord Rangers, Hornchurch and Canvey Island.

Toby now departs The Tags and joins The Millers.
