Clubhouse Re-Open on Hold...

For many the news of pubs/bars and clubs being able to reopen on the 4th July following the restrictions put in place during the covid 19 pandemic is a welcome site & a sure sign that things are slowly returning to some normality.
We as a club rely heavily on bar sales & memberships are no different.
However, a committee decision has been made to postpone the re-open of the club house/bar until the 25th July.

This will I’m sure raise a few eyebrows but ultimately the re-open and guidelines that are required to be followed will mean at present it just isn’t financially viable for us to do so.
Added to this is the fact that some projects are still being undertaken which could again impact the amount of people we are able to safely hold.
We are hopeful that come 25th July we will have these projects completed so that our members can continue to enjoy the area safely.

As many will know Gallagher Premiership rugby returns to our screens from the 14th August and this will be a great chance for us to begin gathering regularly to watch on the big screens. We are still hopeful also of a social event to celebrate the 2019-20 season for senior members & the award winners. Further events will also be publicised and held.

We want to thank all of our members and their families for their patience at this time & hope all are safe...

Further updates will follow...
