A challenging morning and the boys played and behaved well

We met today at Bedgrove with them kindly hosting our fixture. Autumn is definitely with us – the grass was damp and the trees losing their leaves.

The boys with us today – Nando, Jacob S, Matthew, Kai, Noah, James and Billy and a warm welcome to Michal who joins us for his first match.
Jacob S, Matthew and Michal wore the captain’s armband and the team played well with some great defending and long passes. Training is definitely paying off as the boys passed tactically to each other and remained in their positions. There were some great saves by the goalies – Billy, Michal, Matthew and James and some superb shots at goal from Noah , Jacob, Kai and Nando and James hitting the post and Matthew, Nando and Billy finding the net.

The boys are settling so well into the their team and all behaved impeccably against a feisty opposition and some questionable decisions.
See you all at training next week but looking forward to a few Sunday morning lay ins and a well deserved break for the team.
