The Baggies would of taken the point before the game started against a team who have started the season in good form.

Horley started the better and should of gone 1-0 up inside the first five minutes when a good move down the right saw a good cross headed over, when it looked easier to score. Horley certainly played with confidence and kept the ball well but too often gave the ball away and gradually the home side grew in confidence. One thing was notable and that was Horley wanted to keep the tempo of the game going at 100mph whereas , The Baggies constantly threw a spanner in the works of this by slowing things right down, much to the frustration of players, management and supporters of the visitors. Ben Dillon was able to field a stronger side than he had at Fairford with Jon Palmer installed up top with Ryan Stephens. Against the run of play the home side took the lead. Mason Saunders was tripped just outside the box and he took the resulting free kick and guided it around the wall and into the net. Horley continued to dominate possession but without really testing the returning Kinsella in the Baggies goal. On 41 mins the home side doubled their advantage. An excellent through ball from Pilgrim split the defence and saw Captain Ryan Stephens run on and beat the keeper, lifting the ball over him and the ball found its way into the net. Half Time 2-0
The second half had just about everything, goals, incidents and a sending off.
Horley started the 2nd half on the front foot and didn't have to wait long until their first goal. On 54 mins a move down the right saw Cox cross a high ball into area and it seemed to hang in the air for ages, it seemed to evade Kinsella and went straight into the net. Horley were now in the ascendency and were certainly on the front foot. On 65 mins they were level. The home side failed to clear a cross and left back Poplett guided his left foot shot past the defenders on the line. It looked like there was only going to be one winner now but the new look Baggies, under the guidance of Ben Dillon, are made of sterner stuff. The visitors frustration boiled over when they had a defender sent off who was complaining of the time wasting but although it seemed a harsh sending off, you can't kick out at an opponent. On 79 mins the home side regained the lead with the move and goal of the game. Darren Blake received the ball on the left and he held the ball up waiting for the run of Gav Muir. He fed the ball to Gav Muir who beat the defender and passed the ball into the area where Craig Barker finished well with his left foot. Sadly for the home side they couldn't hold the lead and it was the impressive Nadesan who got his sides equaliser on 84 mins. Firstly Gav Muir and then Adam New sliced their clearances and Nadesan was on hand to volley past Kinsella. In the end a draw was probably a fair result on chances. That's 4 points from Ben Dillon's first two league games. Next up is a home League Cup tie on Tuesday v the improving Spelthorne Sports and then on Saturday another home game v AFC Hayes.
