Bamber Bridge extended their league unbeaten run to five games as they drew 2-2 with Warrington Town at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium.

Mark Yeates and Ewan Bange got on the scoresheet to give Brig a two-goal advantage. Matthew Grivosti then pulled a goal back for the visitors on the cusp of half-time, before Benjamin Hough scored a long distance goal in the second half to level proceedings.

Brig got off to the perfect start when Yeates put them ahead inside three minutes. The number 10 combined with a one-two before calmly slotting the ball into the bottom corner for his second goal of the season.

Jamie Milligan's side then almost made it two when Bange was played through on goal, only to be denied by Warrington 'keeper Daniel Atherton.

His opposite number Danny Roccia was then called into action at the other end to deny Mark Roberts's close range header.

Brig then did extend their advantage on 28 minutes. Isaac Sinclair's run into the area was blocked by a defender, before Bange got to the loose ball first to notch is fourth goal of the season - and in typical style, brought out the golf swing celebration.

On 41 minutes, a cross from the left flank was slightly too high for Sheldon Green, who headed narrowly wide whilst off balance.

Warrington then pulled a goal back with the last attack of the first half. A free kick found its way to Grivosti, who ran in behind the defence and finished past Roccia.

The visitors were on level terms shortly into the second half, Hough striking a powerful effort from range which found its way into the bottom corner of the net.

Roccia then made two excellent saves, firstly to push Grivosti's curling effort onto the post before then producing the save of the match to tip Bohan Dixon's header over the bar from point blank range.

Macauley Wilson then pulled off a superb block to deny Dominic Reid's low effort inside the box, which looked to be on target.

On 81 minutes, Bange put the ball in the net for Brig but play was brought back for an earlier handball.

One of the game's most contentious moments occurred on 89 minutes. A scuffle broke out between both teams, and after matters were somewhat calmed, the referee sent off Wilson and booked Yeates for Brig, before showing a yellow card to two Warrington players.

That was the last action of the match, which ended 2-2 and resulted in both teams sharing a point apiece at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium.
