Bangor City Football Club is delighted to confirm the signing of Lennie Armstrong.
The 19-year-old is a centre-back who hails from London.
Armstrong spent the last half of last season in Malta with Mosta and previously had a spell playing in Sweden for Bodens BK.
Manager Stephen Vaughan Jr. believes the addition of the youngster will provide much-needed competition in a vital area of the pitch and is looking forward to seeing him thrive under the pressure of the FAW Championship North.
He said: “Lennie has been training with us since we came back for pre-season. Unfortunately for him, he had a bad knock on his ankle and missed the first two pre-season games but got 90 minutes on Saturday."
Bangor City went away to CPD Gwalchmai last weekend and came from behind, courtesy of braces from Harry Blackburn and Emmanuel Agyemang, to beat the hosts by four goals to two.
"I know him from Mosta and he’s a young centre-back who has all the attributes to develop into a very good player," Vaughan continued regarding his latest recruit. "He will add much-needed competition in the centre of the backline and I’m very pleased to have him on board.”
The transfer is subject to approval from the Football Association of Wales.
