Citizens appeal for donations of warm/winter clothes for local centre, St Mary's Hostel.

On December 27th we welcome Porthmadog to Nantporth in a JD Cymru North home fixture, we will also be welcoming any donations of warm winter clothing for St Mary’s Hostel in the city centre.

For rough sleepers this time of the year is especially tough as the weather takes a turn for the worse. St Mary’s Hostel is in need of warm clothes and underwear that will provide much needed protection from the weather and elements this Christmas. A local shelter that provides accommodation to 13 homeless people and staffed with a full team of support staff on a 24/7 basis. As well as providing a warm and safe space to stay, they also provide warm clothes, sleeping bags etc to those who are less fortunate and don’t have a place at the hostel.

During our next home game we will be taking donations for the centre, and we urge any attending fans to bring along any unwanted items of warm clothing that can be donated to such a great cause on the 27th.
