The NCTJ-accredited journalist joins the club as its new Media Officer and will be responsible for a number of things.
Foster, who has working with the Liverpool ECHO, as well as many roles within boxing on his CV, will, as part of his role, prepare press releases, organise press conferences and interviews, while also liaising with media contacts and monitoring media coverage of the club.
“I’m ecstatic to have been given the opportunity to join such a prestigious football club in such a prominent role,” Foster said when reacting to his appointment. “The club is going through a vitally important stage of transition and I will do my utmost to bolster the incoming changes.”
Club chairman, Stephen Vaughan Jr., said: “We are delighted to have Elliot on board at the club. Working with Elliot in the past, we know he has the drive and commitment to fulfil the role.”
Elliot will be working closely with Mat Jones & George Read who have been doing a great job with the club on a matchday.
