Biography
24-year-old Yalany Baio, is a tough tackling midfielder who holds dual Guinea-Bissau and Portuguese nationality.Beginning his career in the Sporting Lisbon youth structure, Baio joined Liverpool in 2011 where he featured in the Reds’ youth and reserve sides. Tracked by several clubs following his release by Liverpool in 2014, Baio joined Dutch Eerste Divisie club Sparta Rotterdam.
Yalany joined The Citizens during the January 2017 transfer window.
Baio is now in his third spell with the club and is very well known and loved by the Citizen faithful. He leaves it all on the pitch. Can play, can tackle and can organise. He will be a huge member of the squad this season.
