7 Out Of 7 In The League For Harris & Simm's Men
Barkingside Reserves kept up their 100% league start with a 4-2 victory against Harlow Town Reserves at Robert Clack Leisure Centre.
Side started the brightest and went a goal up when Daniel Barth picked the ball up from Kane Messenger, used his blistering pace to take it past the defender and powerfully finish into the net.
Ishmael Raymond then scored his first goal for Barkingside in the 28th minute with a good finish, although by the time he did score it could have been for his hat trick after missing a few good opportunities beforehand.
Harlow Town then halved the deficit through Christian Adu Gyamfi, who used his strength to outmuscle the Barkingside defenders and rifling shot into the top corner beyond Frankie Worboyes.
Straight after half time the 2 goal lead was restored when Darren Seymour fired home on the volley from a Josh Lowbridge set piece. He then scored his second 20 minutes later once freed by Barth and despite having the option of Carl Patten free in the middle chose to finish into the corner himself.
Harlow then pulled another goal back 15 minutes from time to make for a nervy finish but there was to be no comeback and Side closed the game out to win 4-2.
