Defeat At Oakside

'Side suffered a nightmare start as Jacob Dingli scored after 70 seconds to give Redbridge the lead.

David Laird shot over before Redbridge doubled their lead. Dingli again the scorer, poking home inside the area.

Charlie Portway was impressing for 'Side against one of his former clubs. Shortly after testing Jake Mernagh in goal, the forward scored on 33 minutes to make it 2-1. The strike was his second goal for the club.

After half-time Ernest Okoh equalised for 'Side on 62 minutes with a delightful lob over Mernagh. It was an immediate impact for the substitute, scoring four minutes after replacing Laird.

Redbridge though hit back just a minute later, regaining their lead through Sean Kettle who finished after some congestion inside the area.

Gus Gulfer's side went close to scoring an equaliser and had a penalty shout turned down.

The hosts would hold on for the win and added a fourth in injury time through Aaron Gordon. The result leaves 'Side 6th in the league table.
