Home Defeat To Hullbridge

Hullbridge made a great start to the game and went ahead on 6 minutes through Harry Skinner.

Manager Gus Gulfer would have been delighted that 'Side responded well after going behind and were back level six minutes later when Luke With scored. It was the tall striker's 5th goal of the season.

Just as it looked like the teams would go in level at the break, Hullbridge re-took the lead on 42 minutes through Ashley Pibworth who headed in a great cross from Matt Brinklow.

Despite putting pressure on Hullbridge's goal in the second-half 'Side couldn't find an equaliser, although they did find the net only for the ball to go in off a hand and to be ruled out.

'Side are back in action on Monday night when they host Stansted at Cricklefields. Kick-off for that game is at 7:45pm.
