Side Suffer Vase Defeat
Barkingside crashed out of the FA Vase after losing to Wodson Park at Cricklefields on penalties following a 1-1 draw after 120 minutes.
Jacob Dingli's goal in 76 minutes appeared to have put 'Side through to the next round, however an equaliser from Wodson just four minutes later through Steve Towers forced extra-time.
Neither side could find a winner in extra-time, meaning the game would go to penalties. Wodson would win 4-2 on penalties to win the Second Round Qualifying tie.
Michael Walther's Sky Blues are back in action on Monday when they host West Essex in the league on Monday night. Kick-off at Cricklefields for that match is at 7:45pm.
