Defeat At Southend Manor
Barkingside fell to a 2-0 defeat away to Southend Manor in Interim manager Alex Goldstone's first game in charge.
'Side still remain winless in the league despite a good performance at Southchurch Park against Adam Peek's outfit who prior to the match sat only six points ahead of the Sky Blues in the table.
Mohamed Kargbo netted the opener for Manor on 38 minutes before Charlie Barlow doubled the lead two minutes later to put the hosts 2-0 up at half-time.
There was to be no further goals scored as 'Side fell to their 13th league defeat of the season. They are next in action on Tuesday night when they face local rivals Redbridge away on Tuesday night. Kick-off at our former home Oakside is at 7:45pm.
