Oates Grabs Hattrick In Pre-Season Win

Barkingside earned a fine 3-1 win over Sawbridgeworth Town at Crofters End, as Joe Oates bagged a hat-trick in a fine performance by the visitors.
It was a great win for 'Side and one which would have delighted boss Steven Le Sage, against a good Sawbo outfit. Oates was 'Side's star-man, scoring a fine treble and it's hoped that the winger who impressed for the club last season under previous boss Alex Goldstone, can have a good impact again this season.
