Great Win Against Coggeshall
Barkingside earned a fantastic 4-1 win at home to Coggeshall United this afternoon, which saw them score four first-half goals.
Reece Simpson put 'Side ahead after 24 minutes before new signing Malik Donaldson doubled the lead two minutes later.
With half-time looming defender Shaquel Foyewa scored to make it 3-0 on 42 minutes, with in-form striker James Peagram scoring two minutes later to seal a fantastic first period for Franco Zabotti's men.
No further goals came 'Side's way, but Coggeshall did pull a goal back on 72 minutes to deny new keeper Lubimor Georgiv and his defence a clean sheet.
However that couldn't take the gloss off a fine display from 'Side, their best of the new campaign to date.
The Sky Blues are next in action on Wednesdsy 8th September away to league newcomers Park View. Kick-off for that match at the New River Stadium, in Tottenham, is at 7:45pm.
