Hill Hit Side For Six

After an even start to the game, Buckhurst Hill took the lead on 24 minutes through a Tyler Dolan penalty. The forward converting the spot-kick himself, after being brought down in the box.

Hill then went 2-0 up on 32 minutes when Jake Moss swept home from close range after a nice team move.

'Side though struck back four minutes later to reduce Hill's lead. Reece Simpson striking a fantastic shot from around 20 yards into the net, after being picked out by Quincy Warner in midfield.

Going into half-time only a goal down, 'Side had given themselves a chance of getting something. They would even have a man's advantage after the restart for a bit, due to one of the visitors players being sin-binned.

Hill though were not going to be denied though and on 53 minutes went 3-1 up through a precise free-kick from Edward Buchanan.

Hill scored their fourth on 74 minutes when Liam Foster lashed in from close-range following a corner.

Fehinti Falola's clever lobbed finish made it 5-1 on 84 minutes with the visitors completing the scoring in injury-time through Bradleigh Rowland's defelected strike.

The result moves Hill up to third in the league standings, with the hosts remaining in 11th place.

'Side are next in action on Friday 5th November when they host local outfit May & Baker at Cricklefields. Kick-off for that match is at 7:45pm.
