Home Loss To Wormley
Barkingside fell to a disappointing 4-1 home loss to Wormley Rovers at Cricklefields, which leaves the club in 15th in the table.
Wormley started the game well and took the lead on six minutes, through an excellent volley from Cabhan Clarke.
'Side's start to the game would get worse and on exactly 30 minutes Wormley made it 2-0, when Danny Haigh scored.
However two minutes later Steven Le Sage's men scored, to reduce Wormley's lead through a brilliant free-kick from Archie Hammond.
Wormley though would go into half-tine two goals ahead, as Clarke scored again on 40 minutes to make it 3-1 from close range.
With the visitors fully in control at the break, 'Side were unable to make a comeback as Clarke scored again on 56 minutee with a header to wrap up the match.
Wormley would end the game with ten men as Isiah Michael recieved a straight-red on 70 minutes.
'Side will look to get back to winning ways on Wednesday 7th September when they host Enfiekd Borough in the Thurlow Nunn League Challenge Cup. Kick-off for that match is at 7:45pm.
