Coming off the back of a well-deserved point away at AS London last time out, Elliot Thompson's team came into the game looking to get their first league win under his leadership.

There were to be no goals in the first-half but Hoddesdon quickly took the lead after the restart through Jack Gibbs on 52 minutes.

Crucially the hosts would double their lead ten minutes later when Connor Bolton scored and that would be the end of the scoring.

'Side are next in action on Monday 1st December when they host fellow strugglers Enfield Borough at Cricklefields in what will be a huge six-pointer. Kick-off for that match is at 7:45pm.
