return to the Central Wales FA after a 27 year gap.

Following the FAW restructuring process of their pyramid system, the Club, although having passed a Tier 3 certificate, where not amongst those clubs chosen to play at that level following the announcement made on the 10th July. Senior members of the Club met at the ground to discuss the next steps that were open available and applied to both the NWCFA and CWFA as a matter of courtesy, with the preference to re-join the CWFA area for many reasons, subject to the agreement of the players. The players duly met with the Club Chairman (William Huntley) and Manager (Iolo Owen) and duly supported the Committee's decision. A week later and after some confusion, the Club has been placed into Tier 4 (Western Area) of the Central Wales FA and the Club wishes to thank the NWCFA for their understanding and apologises for any inconvenience caused. As can be seen below, confirmation of clubs (9 including Barmouth) has been announced by the CWFA and the Club looks forward to the next chapter in its long history. Although the Magpies face only 16 League matches for Season 2020/2021 when it eventually starts, the Club has entered the Welsh Cup, Welsh Trophy, CWFA Challenge Cup, J Emrys Morgan Cup and two other potential cup competitions, therefore, there will be plenty of matches for the lads with Friday night games included. We now look forward to playing old compatriots again and new adventures and to work closely with an excellent League Management Committee that has been established. Come on you Magpies.
