To all members and friends
Happy New Year to you all, well here we go again with no rugby at all for a while .
Just to say to big thankyou to all of you whom have paid subscriptions for this season, both Junior and Senior players . The income from the subscriptions has helped sustain the club`s finances and we should be able to ride out the current lockdown. We have also tried to reduce our outgoings and have been quite successful.
We have two fundraising activities which are ongoing at the moment ,
This is a monthly draw for a range to prizes from £50 to £200 , in the 2020 year we managed to draw all but two months ,which we will complete when possible. We have had 20 winners to date for 2020.
The 2021 200 club is now open to join at £50 for the full year or £4.50/month ,anyone who is not already in the 200 club please let me know if you would like to join, I will also put out more detail separately.
Friends of BCRUFC
The Friends of the rugby club offers a chance to support to club, it is a social group, and it holds two free events a year for its members .
We will be shortly asking the Friends to renew their membership, and we thank the members who continue to pay by DD , we will have our first event a tremendous brunch and wine tasting as soon as we are allowed . We also ask for you all to consider joining the “Friends “ more details to follow .
We would like to thank all our volunteers for all their help and perseverance over the last year ,it has been a trying time for all .
We received a grant from the NatWest Rugby Force which pays for materials for a volunteer weekend when work is carried out in the club house and grounds .It is still our hope that we will be able to hold the NatWest Rugby Force weekend in the summer .
Hopefully, we will be able to get back to some rugby activity before the end of the season, but until then stay safe and well.
