On 21st September at Barnards Green Cricket Club there will be a charity event. There will be a visually impaired cricket display, a GiveVision showcase, BBQ, disco and a raffle.

We will be raising raising money for The Royal National College For The Blind and for our sports Therapist Millie to buy a SightPlus headset.

The RNC is a college that specialises in the rehab and training that enables people with visual impairment to live an indepent working life. These guys rely on charity funds to survive, and have helped Millie a lot with support and training.

The SightPlus headset provided by GiveVision has enabled Millie to watch live sport clearly such as cricket, and she says

" I can't wait to actually be able to watch rugby and really see it rather than just seeing blury dots on a pitch!! I can actually read books again too, which is a major help for massage and growing my knowledge. "

The SightPlus headset costrg £2995, but we aim to raise £495 to help go towards the deposit of the headset.
