Barnsley RUFC are excited to announce the appointment of Mr. Jonathan Rickerby as Coach for 2022 and 2023 season. Jonathan a native of the North East and played for Gateshead RFC, has accepted the role for next season. With loads of experience within the game, coaching, refereeing from Age Group teams to adults. Jonathan spent a large part of his career with England Rugby, working as a Development Officer up until 2020.

"I am delighted to be asked to coach at Barnsley RUFC and I am excited to get going for next season. Barnsley is a club that i know well, and have always been made welcome ever since i moved to the area in 2007/8 season. The club has done a great job on and off the pitch in the last 2 years, I hope that we keep this going next season on both fronts."

Training commences on 12th July, 7pm at Shaw Lane.
