Update re: Spectators Returning to Rugby

We have just seen news that says spectators will be able to return to watch community rugby in all tiers.

Having just received this news we will need to work through the guidance, checklist and risk assessment process to ensure everything is in place. We’re hopeful this will mean spectators back at Shaw Lane for our 1st game after Christmas on 9th January.

We’ve had a message from Thorne to say they are sticking to their original decision of no spectators for tomorrow’s game. This makes sense given the amount of work that needs to take place before spectators can return.
