Goalkeeper Ryan Beresford will make his first team debut for FC Barometrics in Saturday's Reg Davis Memorial Cup with against Lydney Town Reserves (3pm).
Beresford played second and third team football last term and he has featured in three of the Baros' seven pre-season friendlies this summer. He deputises for Tom Williams, who is on holiday.
Central defender Steve New is recovering from injury and will not feature, while Eddie Rollason and Carl Griffiths are also unavailable.
Forward Tom Hall will be given some game time for the reserves.
There will be debuts for Christian Porter, Danny Nelmes, Jacob Nowell, James Bowers, Dan Lee, Lee Bowles and brother Dan Bowles.
Sam Smith-Hutchinson, who was prolific with Cheltenham Civil Service III last season, will also make his first Baros appearance.
Jonny Howley has been appointed skipper after impressing new boss Joe Tustain with his attitude and enthusiasm this summer.
Tustain has used 25 players in the warm-up games, four or which were against higher level opposition.
"One of our best performers during pre-season has been Dan Lee who was a third team player last year and he has earned himself a starting spot in our opening game," Tustain said.
"Another player within the club who hadn't previously had first team experience is Harvey Powell who is only 17.
"He has done nothing wrong all pre-season and has pushed really hard to get into the starting XI.
"Tom Hall at 16 as also done really well. We obviously need to be careful with him and I think it's best for him to get some regular game time with John Hext's second team and look to get some goals in men's football.
"But we will have no problem playing him in NSL div 1 when the time is right.
"We managed to get that elusive first friendly win against Longlevens Reserves so we are looking forward to giving it a good go."
Saturday sees Barometrics host three games at Newlands with the reserves playing Prestbury (3pm) and the thirds facing Whaddon Reserves (12:30pm).
"We encourage anyone in Cleeve to come down and have a beer and enjoy the afternoon," Tustain said.
"With Bishop's Cleeve away at Wimborne we can offer a good afternoon with free football."
