Barrowby FC is an FA Charter Standard accredited club that has been in existence for several years.We manage the club in accordance with the requirements of the Football Association and actively support the FA Respect campaign and the implementation of the recommendations from the FA Youth Review. some years ago

All our Managers and Coaches have undertaken the required FA training and everyone is CRB checked.   

We welcome everyone to Barrowby FC. The aim of the club is to provide a safe and enjoyable environment to play and watch football regardless of age, gender or ability. For every player, a key objective is to create an atmosphere in which they can learn/develop their footballing skills and enjoy themselves in a fun/learning and safe environment.

As a result of how we manage the club and our approach to providing children’s football some of our teams are quite successful in the competitions in which they compete. Whilst success is welcomed, we believe that it is important that children enjoy their football regardless of results and would encourage everyone to accept and support this approach.The ethos of the club is to compete in all matches; however, we will not play to win at all costs.  
  

The club aims to ensure that all players in teams where match results are not published each receive an equal amount of playing time throughout the season as far as is possible.For older teams who play in leagues where results are published, by necessity, a different & more competitive approach is taken.  

The number of players signed to each team takes into account a mixture of each person’s ability, fitness, availability and conduct.However, it is essential that we have Team Managers and Coaches to manage the teams. The club provides training and supports people to become Team Managers and Coaches.

Each season we aim to have teams in all age groups from U7 to U17 who play in various leagues in the East Midlands. The club also has a Senior Men’s team. Each season we have about 150 junior players and 40 adult players as members of the club.  The players come from not only from the village of Barrowby but also from Grantham and surrounding area.

The club is very proud to have the use of probably the best changing room facilities in the local area. The club is grateful for the support we receive from Barrowby Parish Council and the Football Association.
