Boot Exchange update - August 2021 - Getting ready for next season

We all know how frustrating it is to buy new football boots for our kids, only for them to have growth spurt! They grow so quickly, we can be left with practically brand new boots and the cost of replacing them. Or, your child is just getting started with football? Not sure if they will like it and reluctant to splash out on new boots - We have the answer!

We have as stock of nearly new boots which we can offer to you at a bargain price - see details below.

The aim of the X-Change is to provide access to affordable, nearly new boots for as many parents and kids who want or need them. Obviously the more people who get involved, the more choice there'll be, and the more support that can be provided. In addition, with a small donation, every X-change will help raise funds for the Club in line with the fundraising targets that were recently announced.

The process is as follows;
Available boots will be advertised on the Club website (see latest boots in the attached document) and circulated via the Coaches.
Drop off any used boots (preferably cleaned!) that are in a suitable condition for re-use at the Pavillion.
The boots will be available to look at and try on Saturdays at the Pavillion.*
A fee of £8 will apply to take boots away, but only £5 if you have donated a pair in X-Change.
All fees collected will be donated to the Club for re-investment back into Club facilities and equipment.

*To combat potential COVID issues, all boots will be sprayed with disinfectant and will be re-sprayed if they are tried on and not taken away.
