Bartley Green Continental F.C first were first formed back in 2014, a team set up by Liam Bryan who were supported by Alvechurch and played as Alvechurch Reserves.
Joining The Birmingham AFA for the 2014/15 season, Alvechurch Reserves were elected into Division One finishing a respectable 5th at the end of the season. The home games being played at Merrits Brook playing fields, Northfield.
2015/16 - Alvechurch Reserves changed their pitch to play their home games at Abbey Stadium, Redditch. The team had a good season finishing Runners Up of Division One just 4 points behind winners Birmingham Irish F.C. The team were accepted for promotion to the Premier Division.
At the end of the season, the Team who had played as Alvechurch Reserves left the club. Liam, wanted to continue and maintained a positive attitude. Following the effort that had been put into the team and him wanting to build on the teams recent success, the team were affiliated to Bartley Green F.C.
Bartley Green not having a team for a few seasons due to off field issues with previous, Liam managed to obtain more support from Continental Star F.C. In July 2016 with both Bartley Green and Continental supporting Liam's team, Bartley Green Continental F.C were formed.
We will maintain our status in the Birmingham & District Football League playing our games at Rubery F.C to meet the eligibility to be able to participate in the Birmingham & District Football League's Premier Division.
