Bartley Green Illey will be looking to continue their good end of season form when they travel to Claines Lane to face a much improved Worcester Olympic side.

Following Bank Holiday Monday’s victory against Oakengates Athletic Aaron Blackwoods men followed that result up with a 1-0 win against a good Wolverhampton United side – Connor Perry-Holmes last minute winner was enough to separate the two sides and saw BGI consolidate 12th position. BGI will look to improve on their form away from Illey Lane this term, winning only four times so far in the West Midlands Regional League.

Vice-captain Umit Emingolu and Connor Perry-Holmes will be looking to continue their good run of goal scoring form from midfield. The duo notching 5 goals in 10 games between them – Whilst there defensive unit will be looking to continue their excellent form as BGI have kept 6 clean sheets out of 12 games whilst the new managerial regime have been in charge.

Blackwood's men will also be looking to replicate the 3-0 win at Illey Lane from earlier in the season which was a result under the stewardship of former manager Steve Newton.

Olympic will be looking to get back to winning ways, and have saw some very positive performances of late such as being edged out by West Midlands Regional Division Two champions Kington Town late on and a similar result against Powick Rangers.
