Sunday saw Barton in first round action of the EH trophy. They had been drawn to play against Old Halesonians whom they had lost to the previous week, but Barton boasted a much stronger squad than in last weeks outing. In addition to this, Michael Slinn and Pete Ridley made their first team debuts.

As soon as the game started it was clear that it would be Barton who would dominate, enjoying much of the possession and creating numerous chances. Barton's goals game from Craig Tilke x 3, William Rawbon x 2, Michael Slinn x 2, Ash Parr x 2 and Jacob Foster x 1.

Next week Barton travel to face Telford & Wrekin.
