Our first social event of the new season will be a blast from the past - Scalextric! Our Club President (Paul) will setup and test the track ready for the first race at 7pm. All races will be two cars head-to-head over a set number of laps. We will have to be flexible on the format as we don't know how many will be participating, but the aim will be to hold junior races (for U16) from 7-8.30 and then let the seniors have a go from 8.30-10pm. Teams of 3 will probably work best with each person taking a turn at driving while the other two act as engineers (i.e. returning their car to the track if it comes off).
The cost per entrant will be £3 (payable on the night - all monies go to the club).
