Men's 3XI progress halted by Derwent

Barton had an inexperienced side which played attractive hockey without being able to produce an end product. Raurigh Dinnie, Adam Bentley, and Tom Beard all played well linking up with Henry Harrison to cause problems for the Derwent defence but were unable to find the final touch to produce a goal. Derwent's winner came from a well struck short corner mid way through the second half.
