The 26 year old scored 19 times last season whilst also grabbing 7 assists as Anstey finished 3rd in the NPL Midlands falling short in the playoff semi finals to eventual winners Worcester City.

Zayn had joined the Nomads in March 2024 from Shepshed Dynamo where he played a part in the club's run in which resulted in a playoff final against Harborough Town.

He also scored 19 goals with 11 assists in the 22/23 season helping Shepshed Dynamo to a mid table finish.

It's not Zayns first visit to Kirkby Road as he featured for the Canaries in both the 19/20 and 20/21 season and also counts Coalville, Basford and Stamford as his former clubs.

Predominantly a forward, Zayn featured at left wing and left wing back last season showing versatility and a hunger to do a job for his team mates.
