Barwell welcome AFC Rushden and Diamonds to the UK Floorings Direct Stadium on Saturday 10 August for the opening game of the Southern League Central Premier division 2019/20 season.

Games between the two sides have tended to end in draws in recent seasons. A 1-0 win away in the FA Cup in October 2015 is etched in the minds of all Canaries fans as it meant an appearance in the 1st Round proper for Barwell.

Barwell have won 6 of their 8 pre season games including a 2-0 win over Coventry City U23’s. Rushden have won 4 of 7 games including a win away at Daventry Town in the final game.

Barwell could give debuts to new signings Corey Armeni, Jamie McAteer, Sam Grouse and Shaun Harrad. Rushden have recently signed ex Barwell player Massiah McDonald as well as some promising young players such as Niall Cooper and Jesse Akubuine.

Entrance is £10 for adults and £6 for concessions. Please note the loyalty card scheme is not in use this season but there has been no price increase. Season tickets are still available for £135 adults or £90 for concessions.

The game is a 3pm kick off.
